People seek pleasure and security in relationships.
The only possible guarantee of security in a relationship is the character of a balanced being who has good contact with his sensibility and conscience, who has formulated some solid and correct benchmarks about the reality of the soul and life who lives guided by a code of dignity that does not allow hypocrisy, lies, falsehood, double standards in general, and even less in friendships or couple relationships.
Character is the conscious part created from the will through discerning observation, experience, and self-correction.
Without material, emotional, and physical balance, dignity, assumed decisions, and responsibility, there can be no intimate connection because, in the absence of a character, you do not exist as an identity capable of forming a bond of trust.
Without character and responsibility, you are a biological mechanism controlled by unconscious egoistic impulses that will push you to betray everything that is most valuable in your relationships and to destroy in a moment what has assumed many resources to be built.
Without character, no one is worthy of trust and loyalty because everything you receive will be used against the one who offers it.
This is also the reason why naivety is the greatest sin in this existence. Naivety is the characteristic from which the greatest waste of human and spiritual resources is born. Due to naivety resistant to life's corrections, the resources intended to feed and serve the great human aspirations related to communion, harmony, synergy, and integration end up feeding through manipulation, diversion, robbery, the most abject ambitions of control, and an insatiable hunger for greed.
